Student Ministries of South Baptist Church
Our Awana ministry exists to help build lasting foundations of faith in the hearts and lives of our children. Each night includes a teaching lesson from God’s Word, singing, memory verses, and fun games.
Awana clubs meet weekly every Sunday night (during the school year) from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. Awana is open to all children preschool – 5th grade.

Our Youth group ministry exists to help reach the youth of our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to help equip them to walk with Jesus faithfully in the world where they live.
Youth group meets every Sunday night (during the school year) from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. Each meeting consists of an interactive lesson from the Bible, group discussions, games and fun with other students.
Our Youth group also participates with Truth 4 Youth throughout the year as they host exciting events for churches in the Mid-Michigan area.
For each of Student Ministry Programs we require each student attending to have a parent or guardian fill out the Student Registration Form below. This will give us emergency contact information and serve as permission to allow your child to attend and permission to have the child transported with our church van if needed.
Periodically throughout the school year Youth Group will host an extra activity either at the church or at a different destination. In advance of these activities we will send home information flyers with all of the necessary information.
All of our student ministries workers are individuals who have undergone local and federal background checks and have been approved by our church leadership. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you have out our Student Ministries.
