A Message From Our Senior Pastor

Putting Feet to Our Faith

Romans 10:13-15

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

One of my personal goals for this year and a challenge that I have shared with our church is that we need to be "Putting Feet to Our Faith." We often say that the Bible is the foundation for all of our faith and practice. We claim to believe that it is the inspired, inerrant, and finished written Word of God. We say that we love the Lord with all of our heart, soul and mind. But our lives do not always communicate the same message. "Putting Feet to Our Faith" is about living out a genuine Christian life every day, in every part of your day. Let me encourage you to be genuine in your life. My prayer is for you to know Christ as your personal Savior, and to be involved in a church that cares about you. If you do not have a church home, please consider South Baptist Church.
